Adrian is a first-generation American and a lifelong East Boston resident. In 2015, Adrian was elected as State Representative for East Boston, and is now serving his fourth term after being re-elected in 2020. Ariel, an assistant clerk magistrate at the East Boston Court, grew up in New York and moved to the Boston area in 2008. Adrian and Ariel met as undergraduate students at Tufts University in a child development class taught by the same professor who would officiate their wedding seven years later. Adrian and Ariel have always shared a commitment to serving those in need and effectuating meaningful change within their communities.
